A Pair of Vintage Gold-Filled and Plated Ladies' Wristwatches, Wittnauer and Bucherer - This lot features two vintage manual-wind ladies' wristwatches. The first is a Wittnauer featuring a silver-tone scalloped-edge case with a 10 karat gold-filled bezel and a stainless steel back. The dial is a light champagne tone with Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions and baton markers. It is fitted with a linked white metal bracelet. The second is a Swiss-made Bucherer featuring a square yellow gold-tone case with a black dial and gold-tone baton markers. The watch is integrated into a textured nugget-style bracelet. The clasp is stamped with a gold plating mark and an RW maker's mark. The case back is inscribed in French for a stainless steel back and includes a serial number. This piece is accompanied by its original Bucherer presentation box. Hallmarks: Wittnauer case back marked 10K GF BEZEL, STAINLESS STEEL BACK; Wittnauer bracelet marked 1/20 10K GF; Bucherer clasp marked PLAQUE G 10 MICRONS and RW; Bucherer case back marked FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE and 52294. The Bucherer watch measures approximately 7.25 inches in total length. Both timepieces show moderate surface wear and scratches to the crystals and metal consistent with age. The Bucherer crystal shows several visible scratches. The manual-wind movements have not been tested for timekeeping accuracy. Clasps are in functional condition.
