A Pair of Vintage Cat's Eye Glass Marbles with Blue and Orange Ribbons, mid-20th Century - This lot features two vintage cat's eye style glass marbles, characteristic of mid-20th-century toy production. Each marble is composed of a clear, pale aqua-green glass base housing internal multi-vane ribbons. One specimen contains bright blue and orange ribbons, while the second marble features a combination of orange, white, and light-blue internal vanes. These larger-scale marbles, often categorized as shooters, represent a classic era of glass toy manufacturing common to brands like Vitro Agate or Marble King. Measurements: 0.944 inches and 0.975 inches in diameter. The marbles are in good vintage condition with surface wear consistent with age. Minor scuffs and minute surface nicks, or flea bites, are visible upon close inspection. The internal glass ribbons remain bright and show no signs of internal heat checking or significant damage.
