Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph Console - An Edison Diamond Disc Official Laboratory Model phonograph, manufactured by Thomas A. Edison, Inc. of Orange, New Jersey. The unit is housed in a dark-stained wood console cabinet featuring Gothic-style fretwork over a pink fabric speaker grille. A brass identification plate on the interior lists patent dates from 1903 to 1916 and includes the serial numbers CC 32 and SM-2934. Measures 38 x 40 x 22 inches. The item exhibits age-appropriate wear throughout. The wood cabinet shows surface scratches, minor finish loss, and small indentations, particularly along the edges and legs. Cranks and spins, otherwise untested.
