Kenneth Jay Lane KJL Jelly Cabochon Gold Tone Link Collar Necklace - A vintage Kenneth Jay Lane (KJL) designer costume collar necklace featuring 18 individually hinged, gold-tone metal links. Each link houses a large, highly polished, cushion-shaped cabochon insert, consistent with the ”Jelly Cabochon” style attributed to KJL. The cabochons alternate consistently between opaque black and deep burgundy/plum colors, set within a bright gold-tone bezel. The necklace secures with a lobster clasp and includes an extender chain. The lot includes the original presentation materials: a red textured box, a red velvet-style storage pouch, and an informational pamphlet, all clearly marked KJL by Kenneth Jay Lane. Each link measures approximately 3/4 inch wide. Necklace is 19”. Excellent vintage condition. The gold-tone metal is bright and well-preserved with no visible loss of plating or oxidation. The cabochon inserts are highly polished with no chips or significant surface scratching. The clasp is fully functional. The accompanying original packaging (box, pouch, pamphlet) is also in excellent condition, consistent with careful storage.
