Three Contemporary Glazed Ceramic Bird Figurines - A group of three contemporary glazed ceramic bird figurines. One bird is rendered in variegated yellow, green, and cream glazes with textured feather detailing. A second bird, finished in a dark purple glaze, features pierced floral and scrollwork patterns along its body, creating an openwork effect. The third bird is finished in a glossy dark brown glaze with raised, unglazed cream or white scrollwork and floral accents on its back. All three birds have open or recessed undersides; the purple and brown examples suggest a potential function as votive or tea light holders, while the yellow/green bird's base has three adhesive pads. No discernible manufacturer's marks or text are visible on the unglazed bottoms. Approximately 6 inches (15.2 cm) in length (longest).
