Three Vintage 48-Car Die-Cast Toy Carry Cases by Tara Toy Corp. and Matchbox - Three vintage die-cast toy car carry cases, comprising two manufactured by Tara Toy Corp. and one Matchbox® Carry Case by Lesney Products Corp. Each case features a blue vinyl exterior over a rigid substrate, equipped with a yellow plastic carrying handle and vibrant, multi-color graphic decals. The cases are designed to hold 48 miniature vehicles. One case is explicitly branded ”MATCHBOX® Carry Case” with a 1976 Lesney Products Corp. copyright and ”Matchbox Regular” printed on its handle. The other two, manufactured by Tara Toy Corp., are titled ”48 CAR CASE” and ”COLLECTORS CAR CASE” respectively, with one including ”Tomy Imported Cars and Race Cars” on its handle. All three cases feature illustrations of various stylized racing and passenger cars and explicitly state compatibility with popular die-cast brands such as Matchbox, Hot Wheels, and Corgi. The interiors are fitted with multi-tiered, clear or translucent plastic trays (in orange-red or light blue) segmented into individual compartments for organization. Height of each case approximately 9 inches (22.8 cm) Width of each case approximately 10.5 inches (26.7 cm) Overall condition consistent with age and use. External vinyl surfaces show minor surface wear, scuffs, and some creasing. All yellow plastic handles are present and functional. The graphic decals exhibit some fading and minor abrasions. Interiors are generally clean, with plastic trays intact. All units remain structurally sound and functional.
