Baule Goli Horned Mask, Ivory Coast - A carved wooden ceremonial mask, identified as a Baule Goli Horned Mask from Ivory Coast. The object features a reddish-brown circular disc representing a face, with two hollowed, almond-shaped eyes containing dark, raised central forms outlined in white pigment. A projecting rectangular mouth displays a dark background with a white zig-zag pattern. An upward-curving, ribbed, dark brown appendage, tipped with white pigment, extends from the top. The reverse reveals a hollowed-out form. The object is polychrome, with no visible text or identifying markings. Approximately 28 cm high, 27 cm wide, 9 cm deep.
