This construction vehicle is primarily constructed from painted pressed steel in yellow and black, with black rubber tires on yellow plastic hubs and additional black plastic detailing for components such as exhaust pipes and the steering wheel. Visible markings include ”Mighty- Shovel” stenciled on the cab sides, the ”Tonka” logo with ”MOUND, MINN.” on the front grille, a prominent black decal on the rear top featuring ”Mighty Tonka® SHOVEL”, and a ”MADE IN U.S.A.” sticker on the underside.
