Lexicon of Jewish art and craft, with bibliographical records of engravings, prints and portraits recording five centuries of Jewish history, some from the collection of Rubens and others from different collections.
Accompanied by pictures from the collection, including many engravings with Jewish figures and Hebrew manuscripts. A supplementary volume to the book "Jewish-English Portraits" printed in 1935.
Alfred Rubens (1903-1998), renowned collector and historian, served as the director of the London Jewish Museum between 1958 and 1983. Copy out of a limited edition of 500 copies. Vellum spine and corners.
