Sink for Netilat Yadaim in a Synagogue - Sink for Netilat Yadaim (hand washing) in a synagogue. [Europe, 19th century]. Cast brass, sawn and engraved. Wall sink, with a hanger decorated with an embossed medallion and an engraved inscription ”Veassita Kiyor Nechoshet Lerachatza” (copper sink for washing) and a Star of David. The lid is raised by a small handle. A small pipe on the bottom and a faucet at the end. Height: 43 cm, max. width: 27 cm. Fair condition. Breaks and bends. Numerous soldering repairs. Corrosion.
