Torah Scroll - North Africa - Torah scroll. North Africa (apparently Morocco), [19th century]. Parchment; wood embedded with silver rings. Attractive (faded) Sephardi script. Reinforcements and ink corrections in many places. Some sheets were written by a different scribe. Some columns are particularly narrow (approximately 7 cm.). Rolled on two Atzei Chaim, with upper edges embedded with silver rings (lacking bottom ornamentation). Height of parchment: approx. 52 cm. Length of Atzei Chaim: 88 cm. Fair condition. Stains. Tears, primarily to margins and connections of membranes. New mantle.
