Six tokens and medals with the Tetragrammaton. France and Germany, 17th-19th centuries.
1. A token which was struck in France in 1610, presumably to commemorate the murder of King Henri IV of France.
2. Brass token which was struck as an imitation of the charity tokens of the French organization "Filles-Madame" (the organization was founded in ca. mid-17th century for giving girls dowry money). [17th century?].
3. Token which was struck in memory of Albrecht IV (1599-1640), duke of Saxony-Eisenach who died in 1644 without heirs. [Germany], 1645.
4. Silver token which was issued to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Ryswick. [Design: Christian Wermuth]. Germany, 1697.
5-6. Two identical medals, made of different metals, in memory of Archbishop of Paris, Denis Auguste Affre, who was killed during the Revolutions of 1848. Paris, 1848.
