Six tickets and postcards, including advertising postcards of Jewish companies, a humorous Yiddish periodical that was printed on a postcard, and more. The USA and Britain, ca. last decades of the 20th century.
1. Postcard – "Der Letz" (The Jester), a humorous weekly edited by L. Monfried. Issue no. 7. New-York, October 16, 1908. Yiddish.
The twelve issues of the weekly "Der Letz" were printed on postcards during the last months of 1908.
2. Advertising postcards for the play "Die Umgluckliche Kale from Suffolk Street"
[The Unfortunate Bride of Suffolk St.] based on a novel by Eva Lazarus, at the Prospect Theatre of New-York. [1931?]. English.
3. An advertising postcard for umbrellas of the American companies Siegel, Rothshild & Co. and Mendelson and Zadig. Published by R. Hill. 1905. English.
The postcard was sent by mail in 1908 and bears a postmark of San Jose (California).
4. Calling card of Rev. Dr. Noah Raichelsonn, a Mohel and performer of marriage ceremonies, in Bronx New-York. Yiddish and English.
5. "Palwin, Palestine Wines, Brandies & Liqueurs", a colorful advertising postcard for Kosher wines, brandies and liqueurs made by the Rishon L'Zion wineries, of the Palwin Company. English.
