An anthology of expressionist literature, containing prose, poems, parts of plays, essays and articles by prominent figures in the world of German literature during the first decades of the 20th century. Among the writers: Thomas Mann, Alfred Döblin, Else Lasker-Schüler and others.
The works in the book are accompanied by twelve plates of prints – six lithographs and six woodcuts – by the greatest expressionist artists of the era, among them, Erich Heckel, Ernst Barlach, Lyonel Feininger, Kurt Schwitters, Paul Klee and others.
158 pp + [12] plates, 28.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Cardboard binding. Minor blemishes to binding. Tears to spine.
