On p. 1a, signatures (partially deleted) of the kabbalists R. Yedidya Refael Abulafia and his disciple R. Eliyahu Mani. Other inscriptions on this leaf (partially trimmed).

147 leaves. Lacking first [2] leaves (title page replaced in photocopy). 29.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains. Minor wear. Worming, slightly affecting text. Tears to several leaves. Marginal open tears to final leaf, affecting text. Stamps and handwritten inscriptions. Old binding, damaged, with worming.

R. Yedidya Refael Abulafia - known as HaRav HaYareh (1806-1869), prominent kabbalist, dean of the Beit El yeshiva for kabbalists in Jerusalem.
R. Eliyahu Mani (1818-1899), leading rabbi of Iraq and chief rabbi of Hebron. Close disciple of R. Abdallah Somekh in Baghdad and prime teacher of the Ben Ish Chai.
