Collection of Israeli dolls and other toys. Israel, [second half of 20th century].
Diverse materials (wood, fabric, metal, plastic, and more).
1. Soldier doll wearing red beret and holding rifle. On his uniform is the insignia known as the "Paratrooper Wings" (emblem of the Paratroopers Brigade), and a military decoration from Israel's War of Independence. Product of Sabra (label on bottom).
2. Female soldier doll wearing red beret. On her uniform is a ribbon (military decoration) from the Sinai Campaign (1956). Product of Sabra (label on bottom).
3. Doll in image of Moshe Dayan (saluting).
4-5. Dolls in images of Israeli boy and girl. The boy is wearing a "tembel hat" labelled "Israel" in Hebrew and English.
6. Toy car, product of Gamda-Koor-Sabra. Model Chevrolet Chevelle station wagon, labelled "Chevelle Fire Chief." Vehicle of the type employed by the Municipality of Tel Aviv, with the emblem of the Fire Department on the doors.
