First edition of the first comprehensive research on the Sarajevo Haggadah, by Orientalist David Heinrich Müller and art historian Julius von Schlosser. The study compares the text of the Sarajevo Haggadah and its illustrations to other manuscript Haggadot, and is accompanied by figures and plates in black and white and in color.
Two parts in one volume. Part I (text): [1], iv, 316 pages. Part II (plates): [3] pages, 35 plates. 26.5 cm. Good condition. Minor stains. Binding with leather spine, detached. Wear and damage to binding.
