The Levant Fair – Poster Advertising a ”Ballet Evening” under the auspices of Gertrude Kraus – Tel Aviv, 1936 - ”Ballet Evening, Gertrude Kraus & Orenstein Studios.” Advertising poster for a ballet performance at the Levant Fair. Design: Oskar Lachs (signed with the Hebrew letter ”Lamed”). Tel Aviv: Strod Press, 1936. Hebrew and English. Depicting the flying camel logo and the stylised mast on which the flying camel sculpture was mounted.  Gertrude Kraus (1901-1977), native of Vienna, was a dancer and choreographer, and a pioneer in the field of modern dance in Palestine. Approx. 66X96 cm. Good condition. Few stains. Few tears. Creases. Linen-backed for display and preservation.
