Mandatory Palestine and early State of Israel, from the 1910s till 1951 (mostly from the 1920s and 1930s). Including: ● ”Notice and Warning,” notice to the residents of Jerusalem, issued by ”the Emigration Council for the Jews of Jaffa” and the ”Elders of the Colonies” – calling upon Jerusalem residents to remain in their city and not venture into the colonies – from the time of the First World War and the expulsion of the Jews from Tel Aviv (June-July 1917). ● Elections information and propaganda (including an announcement concerning elections to the [Jewish] Assembly of Representatives). ● Announcement issued by the Electric Corporation, regarding the addition of a paragraph to the contract for the supply of electricity. ● Announcement issued by the Knesset Yisrael general council on the subject of the ”dismal and impossible state of affairs” in the wake of the Palestine Riots of 1929. ● Announcement issued by the Knesset Yisrael Jewish National Council regarding a fundraising campaign on behalf of the Keren Hayesod (1928-29). ● ”Special Publication, a new Government in Israel has been established” (April 1951). ● And other announcements and proclamations.
