Norwegian Naval Officers Hat C.1870s with Original Toleware Fitted Carrying Case

An antique Norwegian naval officer's bicorn hat from approximately the 1870s, features a gold bullion cockade and loop on the side, accompanied by its original toleware carrying case. Known as a bicorn or cocked hat, this headwear was a standard part of full-dress uniforms for naval and military officers across European and American forces during the 19th century.
