Spanish American War USS Philadelphia US Navy Cap - A very nice Spanish American war era United States Naval cap with lots of embroidery on the crown and a nice red silk liner dating from the 1890s.. The USS Philadelphia was a Spanish American war era cruiser which has a rich history. The cap is in really nice condition for the age with slight signs of use from age. Silk liner is a little wrented in one area but overall pretty good. Cap tally reads, USS Philadelphia. Overall a really nice piece of American naval headgear in good shape not often encountered.
