Rare Pattern 1879 Indian Wars Buffalo Hide Overcoat - Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a scarce Indian wars era pattern 1879 regulation US military frontier overcoat. This is one of the rarest in this collection and very hard to come by. Shows honest wear with use, but totally complete and in pretty decent condition has the regulation toggles on the front for closing. Wonderful quilted lining present construction of this is just unbelievable in every way including reinforced leather in the armpits. Has some wear at the left pocket and a few other small areas. Overall a very scarce regulation, Indian wars frontier overcoat in very good condition for the age not often encountered.
