Scarce Model 1881 Type US Cavalry Holster - A nice honest US cavalry holster reminiscent of a type 1887. Overall pretty good condition showing age and where commensurate with use. Solid construction no splits in seems the leather is nice and pliable. Has maker mark on flap which I can't make out. US oval on body. Overall a nice earlier US cavalry holster for a colt single action Army or large frame 38.
