ENGLISH GRANDFATHER CLOCK CIRCA 1800 - An English grandfather clock circa 1800. Two piece polished mahogany wood case with removable hood with flat crown top. Flush bottom base, hinged middle panel door and clock dial door. The clock dial is painted white with black Arabic house numbers. The hour, minute and date hands are hand-cut brass metal. The movement is solid brass with two gear trains for the pendulum and the bell chime. Weights are lead, pendulum is steel rodded with a lead round pendulum bob. Ht: 77” Wd: 19” Dpth: 9”
