Norse 1903-13 Vintage Pottery Bronze Ware Snake Design Factory Ceramic Lamp 35 - Norse 1903-13 Vintage Pottery Bronze Ware Snake Design Factory Ceramic Lamp 35 Very rare Norse lamp with intertwined snakes and geometric design. Excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Lamp will have to be wired. Bottom marked with Norse and shape number. Lamp is 18” tall. Pottery portion is 8 1/4” tall and 9” wide. Norse Pottery was established in 1903 in Edgerton, Wisconsin. In 1904 Norse Pottery was acquired by A. W. Wheelock. Wheelock moved Norse to Rockford, Illinois. Norse Pottery is glazed in a dull, dark metallic type glaze. Forms were made to resemble ancient Denmark, Sweden and Norway pottery. Items produced included jardineres, vases, candlesticks, bowls, ashtrays, covered jars, etc. Norse Pottery ceased production in 1913.Shipping: We are well known in the industry for the quality of our packing and shipping.
