Douglas Ferguson Pigeon Forge Tennessee Hand Made Pottery Brown Ceramic Star Orb Vessel Vase Massive and very rare one of a kind orb shaped hand made vessel vase by sought after potter Douglas Ferguson vase Excellent condition. Harmless firing line to base that doesn't go through because the pot had water in it when we picked it up. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with artist signature Douglas Ferguson. Vessel is 8" tall and 14" wide. Pigeon Forge Pottery in Tennessee was founded by Douglas Ferguson, production began in 1947. Each piece was molded or hand thrown and then hand finished. Production ceased in November 2000 with the passing of Mr. Ferguson. The most valuable and collectible of the Pigeon Forge Pottery pieces are those created and signed by the founder Douglas Ferguson.Shipping: We are well known in the industry for the quality of our packing and shipping.
