Frederick Hurten Rhead Santa Barbara California 1910s Vintage Arts and Craft Pottery Decorated Ceramic Vase Very rare and stunning Frederick Hurten Rhead decorated vase with a colorful repeating design. Great design, color and composition. Minor factory craze lines to body. Bottom marked with stamped Rhead Santa Barbara logo. Vase is 2 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide. Rare, investment quality and estate fresh. While in California Frederick Hurton Rhead started his own pottery studio in Santa Barbara in late 1913 or early 1914.
