THREE JUDAICA CARVED COWRY SHELLS. - Including one from a Bar Mitzvah in 1928, a Happy New Year wishes shell from Palestine (Yablona Colony) The ”Yablona Colony” refers to Nachlat Yaakov (later merged into Kfar Hasidim), a pioneering agricultural settlement established near Haifa in 1924 by Rabbi Yechezkel Taub (the Yabloner Rebbe) and his Hasidic followers from Jablonna (Yablona), Poland. The third shell is a Yarzheit remembrance from a person that passed away in 1925. Average size about 3” wide.
