A PAIR OF 14K GOLD TORAH FINIALS. - Morocco or North Africa, c.1930. Tubular staves. Upper cylindrical portions fitted with bells and chains. Topped with a Magen David. Inscribed with a Hebrew dedication in memory of Rabbi Danon (1874 - 1930) who was born in Morocco but served as Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem from 1915 - 1921. One Magen David is damaged and dissociated from the body. 8.2” tall. 255 grams (8.2 troy ounces) of 14K gold. Estimate $12,000 - 15,000
