AN EXCEPTIONAL DAMASCENE SEDER TRAY BY BEZALEL. Jerusalem, 1912. The center decorated with stylized menorah. With applied design in copper and silver. Engraved in the center is the order of the Seder and the order of Tu B’Av. On the outer rim is engraved with If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget [its skill]. May my tongue cling to my palate, if I do not remember you, if I do not bring up Jerusalem at the beginning of my joy. Also engraved Tuf, Tuf, Mem and Daled indicating the years since the destruction of the Temple. and BEZALEL JERUSALEM 1912. 16.7” wide.
