A PAIR OF GOLD TORAH FINIALS. Morocco or North Africa, c. 1930. Tubular staves. Upper cylindrical portions fitted with bells and chains. Topped with a Magen David. Inscribed with a Hebrew dedication in memory of Rabbi Danon (1874 - 1930) who was born in Morocco but served as Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem from 1915 - 1921.
