Letter handwritten by Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky to Rabbi David Winegarten of Jerusalem. 1912. Written on the official postcard of Rabbi Plotzky. Among others, he tells about his planned trip to his teacher, the Rebbe of Gur, there he plans to "speak with Maran Shalita and his dear brothers Shalita".

Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky (1866-1926), the author of "Kli Chemda", one of the greatest rabbis of Poland, the disciple of the author of "Nefesh Chaya", of the genius of Kutno and the author of "Avnei Nezer". Served as Av Beit Din of Dvohrt and of Ostrov-Mozbaisk. He participated in the well-known journey of the most prominent rabbis who travelled to the USA in 1924.
