A Jewish medal, amulet for the birth of a boy. Probably from Germany, 19th century. On the obvers the letter He (Hebrew) and other Hebrew inscriptions "May he grow up to [a life of] Torah, a successful marriage, and good deeds". On the revers an inscription in Hebrew protecting from the Evil Eye. Diameter: 2.7 cm. Poor condition, massive wear.
