Judaica Silver Wine Making & Tasting dishes - Collection of silver items for the production and consumption of wine, most of them Jewish related, including: 1. Silver wine sampler, circa 1900. Length: 23 cm. The cup has an engraving with the Hebrew blessing: ”Creator of the Vine”. Hallmarked. 2. Silver wine sampler, Austro-Hungary, late 19th century. Length: 25.5 cm. The handle bar is realistically designed as a vertical support for vine lattices towards the vintage. Hallmarked. 3. Wine Stopper / Pourer, for use on Seder night. Silver 835, Germany, early 20th century. With the engraving: ”Pesach”. Overall length: 18 cm. Hallmarked. 4. Wine Taster, probably from the second half of the 17th century. Hand chased sliver. Bottom with dome, for convenience of holding, decorated with poppy. Diameter: 10.5 cm. Unsigned. Bowls of this type were used as kiddush cups in Ashkenazi communities.
