Early 1800's German Silver Torah Finial, Augsburg - Rare early 1800's German gilt silver Torah finial, Augsburg. Pear form, embossed with palmettes and additional foliate motifs, topped with a crown shape and a sculpted eagle finial. Featuring 5 bells. Height: 31 cm. Weight: 478 grams. Marked with maker's mark 'SE' and Augsburg city mark incorporating the date letter 'O' (1803 or 1828). Good condition, minor flaw to stem.
