WILLIAM TRIPPETT, LONDON. AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY WALNUT EIGHT-DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" square brass dial with crown and cherub spandrels silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals enclosing a matted centre with seconds dial and date aperture, fronting an eight-day weight driven movement with five pillars and anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell. The case with applied pillars and long trunk door with fitted glass lenticle. (222cm high )
