HARE, LONDON. A FINE GEORGE III MINIATURE MAHOGANY AND ORMOLU MOUNTED MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK, the 4.5" arched brass and enamel dial having engraved floral spandrels and convex enamel signed dial with Roman numerals and finely cut brass hands, the arch with two subsidiary dials for Strike/silent and tune selection. Fronting an engraved signed eight-day three train fusee movement, playing five tunes on twelve bells and hammers, striking the hours on a further bell and fitted with a balance wheel escapement. The inverted bell top case with arched front and sides fitted with finely cast gilt brass mounts raised on a brass plinth with leaf-scrolled bracket feet (34cm high handle down)
