Antique English Georgian Mother of Pearl Inlaid Tortoise Shell Tea Caddy, Mid 19th Century - Description: An English tortoise shell tea caddy in rectangular form having a stepped sarcophagus lid bearing a centered silver plaque with likely worn script. The body being inlaid with mother-of-pearl flowers and leaves, with silver piping. The interior having a bone handled fitted lid with red velvet lining, fitted into the bone decorated box.
