Antique Hickory Wood Shaft MacGregor 'Duralite' 7 Club Golf Iron Set, 3 Stars, Putter, Pitcher, - Description: A matched set of antique hickory wood shaft MacGregor Duralite Stainless Steel irons with progressive lofts and lengths. #2 Mid-Iron, #3 Mid-Mashie, #4 Mashie-Iron, #5 Mashie, #7 Pitcher, #9 Niblick, #10 Putter. Lengths as indicated on the rear of the clubheads are as measured to the bottom of the sole at the hosel. All clubs with MacGregor shaft stamps. Original mahogany-tone leather wrap grips. No apparent rust etc. or evidence of caddy cleaning. All clubheads with ”N W” stamps to rear. Line groove faces with fancy pyramid pattern dot punches. Type: Antique golf clubs Materials: Hickory wood, stainless steel, leather Markings & Inscriptions: Marked Date: Early 20th century / 1920's Maker: The Crawford McGregor and Canby Co. Dayton Ohio shaft stamps. MacGregor Dayton O. and clover stamps in oval to the rear of the clubheads. Dimensions: Putter 34.5” Niblick 36.5” Pitcher 37” Mashie 37.5” Mashie Iron 38” Mid Mashie 38.5” Mid Iron 39” (measured to bottom of hosel at the sole) Provenance: From a Chester County, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Very good condition overall, the Mid-Iron and Mid-Mashie with a few degrees of shaft bend in the handle area, else fine.
