A WW2 GERMAN HEER / WEHRMACHT OFFICER M43 FIELD CAP IN GREY, C. 1940S - Field-grey wool M43 Einheitsfeldmütze for a German Army officer, with short cloth visor, fold-down side flaps, two pebbled metal front buttons, silver officer piping around the crown, and a Heer eagle-and-cockade trapezoid insignia on the front. Interior has a brown leather sweatband, dark lining, and what appears to be a size stamp around 56. Germany, c. 1940s. Dimensions: D: 8 in., (20.3 cm.)
