WWII GERMAN LUFTWAFFE TROPICAL OFFICER'S VISOR CAP, MEDITERRANEAN / AFRIKA, C. 1941-1943 - Tan/sand-colored Luftwaffe officer’s tropical Schirmmütze with black ribbed cap band, yellow/gold branch piping, black patent visor, officer cord, metal Luftwaffe eagle, and bullion/metal wreath-and-cockade insignia. Interior has a light lining, brown sweatband, and celluloid maker shield. Maker marked with Lion on Red shield and ”Elite”. Germany, c. 1940s. Dimensions: D: 7 1/2 in., (19.1 cm.) Condition: Very good for age. Interior leather band slightly worn, with some thin tears and one small hole, still well attached. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
