A WW2 GERMAN WERKSCHUTZ OFFICER TUNIC - With an officer's quality Werkschutz embroidered sleeve insignia. Werkschutz were industrial security guards, the security forces of factories and other industrial establishments as well as in charge of forced labor. During WWII, they protected production facilities and also helped control the workforce. Although the force was considerable, surviving Werkschutz uniforms are scarce.
