A WWII GERMAN LUFTWAFFE UNISSUED FLIGHT TUNIC - A World War II German Luftwaffe blue-gray wool service tunic, apparently unissued or showing exceptionally little wear. Of tailored four-pocket construction with four silver-colored pebbled front buttons, matching buttons on the pocket flaps and shoulder straps, and yellow Waffenfarbe piping and collar tabs indicating flying personnel. The breast is adorned with an embroidered Luftwaffe eagle and swastika insignia in light-colored thread. Fully lined in gray fabric, the interior bears depot and size markings including ”LBA(S)39,” indicating Luftwaffe Bekleidungsamt acceptance and the year 1939, together with size numbers ”42,” ”90,” ”71,” and ”63.” Retaining clean, well-defined tailoring, insignia and fittings.
