A DANIEL GRATALOUP, FRENCH, ABSTRACT COMPOSITION, 1967 - 2026 - Mixed media print on paper, the composition rendered in deep tonal washes with a central organic abstract form emerging from a dark ground, suggestive of mid-century European abstraction. Signed lower right in pencil ”Grataloup” and inscribed ”exemplaire signé”. The work is accompanied by the original presentation inscription on the reverse, reading in French ”Daniel Grataloup vous présente ses meilleurs voeux pour 1967”, indicating it was issued as a personal New Year’s greeting. An additional handwritten label verso provides a Morangis, France address, reinforcing its direct, personal provenance. Matted and housed in a wooden frame.
