A RUSSIAN LANDSCAPE ETCHING WITH OLD OAK TREES, SIGNED ”KONST. YAKUSHIN” - A finely executed Russian landscape print depicting a grove of monumental old oak trees, their massive trunks and spreading branches dominating the composition, with a small rustic log dwelling visible in the middle distance. The landscape is rendered with exceptionally dense linear and stippled work, creating pronounced contrasts of light and shadow and a highly detailed treatment of bark, foliage and ground cover. Printed in black on cream wove paper. The sheet appears unsigned within the image, and the attribution to ”Конст. Якушин” (Konst. Yakushin) should therefore be retained cautiously unless an inscription, portfolio cover or other documentation accompanies the work. Dimensions: 7 3/8 x 6 3/4 in., (18.7 x 17.1 cm.)
