AN ENAMEL PAINTED SILVER SPOON OF NAPOLEON, 19TH CENTURY - A commemorative silver spoon depicting the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, the handle being rendered as a garland of laurels surmounted by an eagle holding lightning bolts in its talons. The underside bears the German crescent moon and crown silver hallmark, along with the 800 silver proof and two other marks. Germany, 19th century. Dimensions: L: 4 5/8 in., (11.7 cm.)
