A HAND-PAINTED MINIATURE OF NAPOLEON, 19TH CENTURY - A hand-painted miniature portrait of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in the uniform of a colonel of the grenadiers à pied de la Garde Vieille, rendered in watercolor and gouache. The piece is kept behind glass within a gilt frame decorated with a laurel wreath bordered by beads to either side. The verso and stand are lined with a maroon velvet fabric. France, 19th century.
