A FRENCH EMPIRE ORMOLU FOUR-PICTURE FRAME, 19TH CENTURY - Of hinged folding form, comprising two rectangular panels, each fitted with one large rectangular and one smaller oval photograph aperture. The finely textured gilt-bronze surface is applied with repeated palmette, rosette and foliate ornament in the Empire taste. Dimensions: 11 1/4 x 10 1/8 in., (28.6 x 25.7 cm.)
