A RUSSIAN GOLD DIAMOND-SET RING - A Russian rose-gold ring centered by a square modified brilliant-cut diamond of pale yellow tint, claw-set within a rectangular surround of smaller round-cut diamonds. The shoulders are each set with a triangular-cut diamond, forming an elegant geometric cluster design. The shank bears a Russian ”56” zolotnik gold standard mark, corresponding to approximately 14K or 583 gold, together with additional partially legible assay and maker's marks.
