A PAIR OF VIENNA BRONZE COLD-PAINTED PHEASANTS, C.1900 - A pair of finely crafted Vienna bronze pheasants, both birds being cold-painted in the characteristic Austrian style. The vibrantly colored feathers are chased and molded with intricate detailing. Both birds stand on their own feet, the ends of their tails acting as a support. The underside of each tail is marked 'AUSTRIA'. Vienna, Austria, c. 1900. Dimensions: L: 29 3/4 in., (69 cm.) Condition: Each sculpture structurally sound.
